Its just a little ol’ Greek Street Party!

The Antipodes Festival is one of Melbourne’s largest street festivals & one of the largest celebrations of Greek culture in the world.

Organised by the Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM) since 1987, the 2-day cultural extravaganza is set in the historic Lonsdale St Greek Quarter in the heart of Melbourne.

The Festival presents over 70 hours of programmed entertainment featuring 500+ performers across 3 stages & supported by 80+ pop up market stalls plus extended trade from the historic Greek precinct’s traders.

A landmark on City of Melbourne’s cultural calendar, the festival attracts over 80,000 people from across the country to its program & features extensively in national & international media.

In 2024 the 36th Antipodes Festival will be held on Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 February.
