The Festival takes place along Lonsdale Street (between Swanston Street and Jones Lane) and Russell Street (between Little Lonsdale and Little Bourke) in Melbourne’s CBD.
Whether you’re coming by train, tram, bus, bike, or car, here’s how to get to the festival smoothly.
City Loop: Parliament Station (8 min walk)
Metro Tunnel: Town Hall Station and State Library Station (both 11 min walk)
These stations are located on major train lines and connect easily to tram routes servicing the CBD.

Some bus routes will be affected by temporary diversions during the festival weekend.

The festival site is easy to reach on foot from anywhere in the CBD. There are several access points to the Festival, you won't need to worry about which direction you enter from.

If you’re cycling, bike racks are available nearby — but please don’t bring bikes into the festival area for safety reasons.
If you’re driving, please plan ahead — parking is limited and some streets will be closed.

Closures will be in place from 10 pm Friday until late Sunday.
Consider parking at nearby secure car parks and walking to the precinct.

If you’re driving or involved in festival operations, please be aware of road closures in place.
Lonsdale Street and Russell Street will close from 10 pm Friday before the festival.
During these times, access is restricted to:
Approved contractors with scheduled access
Stallholders during their allocated bump-in and bump-out times
Emergency vehicles
Stallholder and contractor access
Entry via Russell Street North
All vehicles will be managed by festival traffic and security staff
Movement is one-way only to help reduce congestion
