Barbara Kitallides is a Melbourne based artist.

Born in Cyprus, Barbara came to Australia in 1976 as a child with her family.

Her natural artistic talent started at a very young age and has continued throughout her life.

Studying Graphic Design at Monash University allowed her to explore the creative world. Art became her great passion and led her on an innovative career path. Barbara found herself more interested in fine art, drawing and in particular painting.

In this exhibition, the artist explores colour, mood and moments in time, drawing from real-life experiences and influences. The artist attempts to break away from the grid template and constraints of everyday life - painting without formal structure or borders, seeking freedom and movement.
