Alex is the male equivalent of Bridget Jones, with parents that continually pressure him to marry - and she’d better be a Greek-Orthodox girl!

During the 2004 European Soccer Tournament, when Greece enjoys a fairytale run, Alex meets Eve, a Lebanese-Muslim woman – and sparks fly. Eve’s parents however, have reached breaking point and put the pressure on Eve to marry - and he’d better be a good Lebanese-Muslim!
